About Nexus

We build and run the Nexus Exchange, a trading venue for crypto perpetual futures. Trade from the browser or through the API.

Who we are

Nexus Laboratories, Inc. is the company behind the Nexus Exchange.

The Exchange is what we build. That means the trading terminal and the APIs, for people who trade by hand and for software that trades on its own.

Current stage

Public testnet

The Exchange is in public testnet. Trades are simulated and balances are test USDX, which has no real-world value. The Exchange is not live and not a regulated venue, and nothing here is an offer or solicitation.

To see what works today, open the terminal or read the API docs.

What we build

Order book

The Exchange is a central limit order book for crypto perpetual futures, with cross-margin and settable leverage.

Terminal

The terminal is the Exchange's web app. Charts, the order book, order entry and your positions share one screen.

API-first

Anything you can do in the terminal, you can do over the documented REST and WebSocket APIs.

How we work

We focus on the things traders weigh when they pick an exchange.

  • Order acknowledgement latency
  • Throughput
  • Market coverage
  • Margin and liquidation mechanics
  • Terminal quality
  • API quality

For now, the goal is to match the leading centralised exchanges on performance and product quality.
