This week on Nexus 06.16.26
This release gives traders more control over their positions, makes live market data more resilient, and adds a layer of safety controls that let us keep the Exchange trustworthy when something looks wrong.
Trading
You can now choose your own leverage per position. The leverage you select stays attached to that position for its lifetime, so the margin treatment is predictable from the moment you open it through to close.

Safety controls
A large part of this release went into controls that protect the venue and the people trading on it:
- A global withdrawal kill switch lets us pause withdrawals instantly if something looks wrong.
- Operators can halt an individual market and then cleanly resume trading once it’s safe, rather than taking down the whole Exchange.

Live market data
Liquidations now stream over a dedicated real-time channel, so you see them the moment they happen instead of inferring them after the fact. And if your connection drops, the data feed detects the gap and replays from where you left off — no missed updates, no full reload.
Reliability and access
- Faster, safer recovery: services can restart from a recent state checkpoint and pick up exactly where they were.
- A new endpoint lets you check your account’s current rate-limit status directly.
- Hardened request handling and tighter access controls on internal routes.
Compliance
The Exchange now shows a clear legal disclosure on first load, so the terms of using the venue are presented up front.
